With reference to the application for admission into Andhra University Colleges of Arts and Commerce, Visakhapatnam/AU PG Centres at Srikakulam and Kakinada and all Affiliated Colleges where PG courses in Arts & Commerce covered under AUCET-2004 are offered, for the academic year 2004-2005, the candidate is hereby directed to appear before the Admission Committee for Admission-Interview at the venue, date and time noted at the Admission Schedule (Annexure-II), at his/her own expenses with all the required original certificates (including the prescribed fee as given in Annexure-I, in the form of Demand Draft on any nationalized bank, drawn in favour of the Registrar, Andhra University, payable at Visakhapatnam. The candidate has to write his/her name, subject and rank on the reverse side of the DD at a corner. He/she should be present at the Venue before half-an-hour of the scheduled time on the date notified for the subject he/she belongs to. His/her candidature will not be considered under any circumstances, if he/she comes late to the Venue even though he/she gets admission.
Copies of the Admission Schedule (Annexure-II) along with this Admission Interview Memo and its enclosures, are posted to all the candidates, who got a rank in AUCET-2004 irrespective of their rank whether appeared/not appeared in the schedule. Those who received this Memo are directed to treat this as Call Letter for Admission into the course which he/she opted. Hence, no individual call letter will be sent to the candidates mentioning their name, rank and address. But they shall verify the rank card of AUCET-2004 with this Interview Memo. Please note that such candidates whose rank is not mentioned in the Admission Schedule need not attend the Admission Interview. It is also to be noted that since more number of candidates are called than the required number to hasten the process of admission, this intimation does not guarantee admission. The admission process may continue for the next day, if it is required. The candidate should come prepared for overnight stay, if necessary, on his/her own. If selected for admission, the candidate has to pay the prescribed fee, immediately. In case the candidate fails to pay the fee or fails to submit the documents stated hereunder, he/she will have to forego the admission. No extension of time for producing the certificates or for paying fee shall be granted and no representation whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. The fee receipt should be shown to the concerned Head of the Department/Special Officer of AU PG Centre/Staff or Principal of Affiliated College concerned, immediately after the remittance of fee and collecting the fee-receipt, for entering his/her name on the attendance rolls. Fee once paid will under no circumstances be refunded. Payment of fee in cash will not be accepted. However, arrangements are being made to provide Bank counters at the Admission venue itself to facilitate the candidates to get their DDs on the spot. The candidate has to write his name and address, AUCET-2004 rank number and subject and also the name of the College where he/she is allotted.
This intimation is posted to all the candidates who seek admission through their application submitted to the Convener, AUCET-2004, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria for admission. Mere receipt of this Memo does not qualify the candidate for admission. If the eligibility is not there, admission will not be given. Candidates are further informed that cases of pending revaluation/Hardcore/instant exam, etc. will not be considered and no seat will be reserved for such candidates irrespective of themselves being eligible.
